Team-Building / Training

Team meetings are designed to prepare both our minds and our hearts for going into the prison. Therefore it is essential that team members attend all four sessions. There you will gain new insights into how the Weekend will progress, how to interact with inmates, and how to be an effective witness for Jesus Christ. And throughout the team building process, you will grow in knowledge and love for fellow volunteers as you practice the Kairos motto, “Listen. Listen. Love. Love.”

Meeting #1 - Saturday February 1st, 8:00am - 3:00pm - Woodlands Methodist Church

Meeting #2 - Saturday February 15th, 8:00am - 3:00pm - Woodlands Methodist Church

Meeting #3 - Saturday March 1st, 8:00am - 3:00pm - Northside Baptist Church

Meeting #4 - Saturday March 15th, 8:00am - 3:00pm - Northside Baptist Church

Meeting #5 - Thursday March 20th, 9:00am - 1:00pm - Northside Baptist Church

Kairos #7 Weekend is March 20th - March 23rd, 2025 at the O.B. Ellis Unit

Instructional day is March 29th, 2025
