Team-Building / Training

Team meetings are designed to prepare both our minds and our hearts for going into the prison. Therefore it is essential that team members attend all four sessions. There you will gain new insights into how the Weekend will progress, how to interact with inmates, and how to be an effective witness for Jesus Christ. And throughout the team building process, you will grow in knowledge and love for fellow volunteers as you practice the Kairos motto, “Listen. Listen. Love. Love.”

Team meeting Dates

Meeting #1 - Saturday September 14th, 8:30am - 2:30pm - Woodlands Methodist Church

Meeting #2 - Saturday September 28th, 8:30am - 2:30pm - Northside Baptist Church

Meeting #2 - Saturday October 12th, 8:30am - 2:30pm - Woodlands Methodist Church

Meeting #4 - Saturday October 26th, 8:30am - 2:30pm - Northside Baptist Church

Kairos #6 Weekend is October 31 - November 3rd, 2024 at the O.B.Ellis Unit

Instructional day is November 9th, 2024
